Manufacturing Production, Material Handler
Andover, MA – 2nd Shift (2:30PM – 11:00PM)
Security clearance:
DoD Clearance – Confidential (U.S. citizenship required).
- Receive material by unloading carriers, verifying paperwork, visually checking for damage and performing data entry transactions into a computerized business system.
- Inspect material utilizing standard test equipment, hand tools and other mechanical tools.
- Perform solderability testing on incoming and obsolete hardware.
- Unpack material for storage or delivery to work centers, and move materials as directed.
- Transport material within the facility, occasionally between Massachusetts locations.
- Count, weigh, measure, sort, package and label material for inventory, storage, issue, and release to manufacturing.
- Perform basic electrical inspection of purchased components according to written procedures.
- Perform the induction step and package materials in compliance with special packaging instructions or other documented procedures.
- Perform related data entry transactions for required tasks.
- Assist in physical inventory as directed.
- Assemble shipping containers and package product for shipment according to contractual requirements.
- Load, brace, and secure outgoing shipments onto carriers.
- Clean, service, and maintain assigned tools, equipment, machinery and work areas.
- Control and release tools and equipment to the work center, calibration lab and respective tool cribs.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
- Maintain records, move materials, and follow safety rules in performance of duties.
- Perform other similar duties as required or directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in handling, moving and processing inventory.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Confidential U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
