Production Supervisor (3rd shift) – Andover, MA. This role oversees a manufacturing operations cell of 15‑20 employees, leading the team in a fast‑paced environment to meet contractual quality, cost and delivery goals.

Responsibilities
  • Execute schedule and cost management.
  • Plan workforce and forecast staffing needs.
  • Hire, train, and develop employees.
  • Track time and attendance.
  • Manage area layout and process flow.
  • Control capital and overhead costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead safety improvement projects and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate daily with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and program management.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Six‑Sigma and Lean methodologies.
Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with at least 3 years). Supervisory, leadership and/or manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience working in or guiding a CNC machine shop, preferably in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Proficiency in assigning, managing and measuring work assignments to completion.
  • Track record of implementing Lean or Six‑Sigma projects.
  • Ability to lead a team‑based manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access) and/or SAP.
  • U.S. citizenship and active transferable DoD Confidential clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance prior to start.

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
