Inspector - 1st Shift

An electronic component manufacturing company is seeking an Inspector in Methuen, MA, to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a company known for its commitment to quality and excellence in inspection processes.

Shift of the Inspector:

First shift - 7AM-3:30PM

Pay Rate/Salary of the Inspector:

$25-28.50/hr

Responsibilities of the Inspector:

• Perform daily inspections of incoming materials and document results using written procedures.
• Move conforming materials to the stockroom and nonconforming materials to the MRB area.
• Support MRB activities by processing necessary documentation and moving dispositioned materials to the proper area.
• Conduct detailed first article inspections when required and document results.
• Interface with appropriate parties to address noted issues.

Qualifications of the Inspector:

• Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and digital multimeters.
• Ability to read blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and nonconformance reports.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds.
