CNC Programmer, 3rd Shift
Position type:
Full-time, Contract. Duration: 6 months (contract to hire).
Location:
Lowell Street, Andover, Massachusetts. Shift: 3rd Shift.
This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.
Responsibilities- Support CNC machine shop operations and troubleshoot production issues
- Develop complete manufacturing process plans (materials, fixturing, tooling, CNC programs, inspection, finishing, assembly)
- Create multi-axis (3/4/5-axis) CNC programs and optimize using simulation tools
- Design work holding/fixturing solutions for complex parts
- Develop CMM inspection programs and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Analyze SPC and metrology data to improve process capability and reduce cost
- Lead continuous improvement and standardization initiatives
- Support new product introduction (NPI) with rapid process development
- Validate NC programs using Vericut and Cimco Edit
- CNC programming:
Creo, NX, Mastercam, or Solid Works - Multi-axis machining experience
- Vericut & Cimco Edit (program validation)
- CMM programming: PC-DMIS or Zeiss Calypso
- Strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5)
- Experience with precision metal components (aerospace/defense preferred)
Pay Range*: $77.00 - $87.00 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
