Overview
Production Team Lead at MKS Instruments is responsible for planning and scheduling products and materials through various production phases and overseeing production operations. Reports to the Manufacturing/Operations Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Plan and schedule products and materials through various production phases.
- Implement planned production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
- Review schedules to determine materials and parts requirements and ensure availability.
- Assist and develop personnel to ensure efficient operation of production function.
- Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent (preferred).
- 3‑5+ years of related experience in a lead/supervisory role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with Oracle and MS Office.
- Production experience in electro‑mechanical assembly, reading, writing and arithmetic (preferred).
- Activities include sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Frequent positioning of self and objects below, at, and above shoulder level.
- Operates in a laboratory/manufacturing environment.
- Interacts with specialized equipment and machinery.
- Adheres to safety protocols to mitigate risks associated with assembly.
- Moderate noise levels.
- Occasional exposure to chemicals and fumes; compliance with safety guidelines is mandatory.
Pay Range: $26.51 – $44.18 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate based on qualifications, experience, and training. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus.
