Material Handler

ICP Group is looking to hire a Material Handler. 1st shift to join our team in Andover, MA. The Material Handler position involves supplying the batch maker with raw materials to make the products, as well as putting raw material inventory away in proper stock locations when the raw materials are no longer needed.

Shift

Hours:

Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays) 6am to 2:30pm. Hourly pay $19.00 to $20.00.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Experience driving a high reach type fork truck as well as a sit down style fork truck
• Involves using a laptop to move the material from one location to another in our ERP system.
• Requires the ability to physically lift 50-55 lbs.
• Requires basic math skills.
• Requires basic reading skills.
• Requires some sense of organizational presence.
• Requires safe operation of all equipment.
• Requires efficient use of time in a fast paced environment.
• Communicates material shortages to inventory personnel or supervisor in a timely manner
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in monthly safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of the equipment including daily forklift checks. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.
• Support and comply with required PPE.
• Other duties as assigned

• Prefer 1-2 years of experience in a factory production environment.
• Experience driving a high-reach fork truck and sit down fork truck.
• Experienced using a laptop/computer
• Safety habits & awareness required as a condition of employment.
• Must possess ability to lift medium to heavy weights intermittently. Must be able to bend, stretch and reach in positions to move & mix raw materials of batches.
• Follow company policies & procedures.
