Manufacturing company in Andover, MA is hiring in their state-of-the-art wastewater department.

Location: Andover, MA

Schedule: 2nd shift, Tuesday
- Saturday 3pm to 11pm and 3rd shift, Sunday
- Thursday 11pm to 7am

Pay Rate: 2nd shift, $22.50 - $30/hr. plus 12.5% shift differential - 3rd shift, $22.50 - $30/hr. plus 20% shift differential

Job Summary: We are expanding to vertically integrate core printed circuit board operations. The expanded area includes a state-of-the-art wastewater recycle/DI water regeneration system. We are seeking candidates to be responsible for the daily operation and preventative maintenance of the Waste Treatment area. This role will require the candidate to learn to operate and maintain a wide variety of industrial wastewater treatment equipment.

Responsibilities Include:

Daily operation and preventative maintenance of equipment handling waste streams that isolate; heavy metals, organic films, salts, and regenerated DI water

Hands-on material handling; moving chemical totes/drums (strong acids and bases) and waste streams with a forklift and pallet-jack

Safely performing job duties using the appropriate PPE and techniques

Operating PLC control panels with HMI touchscreen in accordance with SOP and PMP

Maintaining log sheets of set points/parameters for data analysis and record-keeping

Gaining an overall understanding of process flow and equipment to perform minor troubleshooting

Qualifications Include:

Interest in obtaining MA 5-C Full Wastewater license.

Relevant technical degree or hands-on work experience with industrial fluid flow systems

Experience working with a variety of pumps and valves

Experience with basic hand and power tools

Experience following standard operating procedures and providing useful feedback to make improvements

Must be comfortable handling drums and totes of strong acids and bases, as well as other chemicals

Hazmat training and experience with PPE

Must be willing to occasionally work overtime in urgent situations

Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced environment

Experience with electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter is a plus
