We have a high visibility opportunity for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor in our Advanced Electronic Subassembly (AES) factory. You will lead a manufacturing operations team of roughly 25 employees, ensuring that products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements through planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production. You are responsible for a safe work environment and daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office.
Achieving and exceeding cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals, as well as implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies, are critical performance criteria.
- Execute schedule and cost.
- Plan workforce and forecast staffing.
- Hire and train employees.
- Track time and attendance.
- Manage area layout and production flow.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify capital needs and control overhead expenses.
- University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Supervisory, leadership, and/or manufacturing experience.
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.
- Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
Salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 USD.
