Scheduling Manager

Scheduling Manager – Andover, MA

Raytheon is seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead Material Requirements Planning (MRP) functions in our Andover, MA manufacturing facility. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an existing DoD Confidential clearance.

• Present and drive metric-based improvements across the Value Stream.
• Manage a team of Production Control Managers and Professionals.
• Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting.
• Release production orders in MRP system and confirm in shop floor system.
• Manage and coordinate the Kit Readiness, working with cross-functional teams in BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control.
• Provide production floor support, including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work In Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule.
• Control the physical disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material, including Return to Vendor, purged material, WIP STOP per contractual restrictions, and configuration of components/sub-assemblies as required.
• Coordinate and execute program schedules with Global Supply Chain Management, Subcontracts, Engineering, and other functional areas.
• Support efforts to establish and coordinate actions to meet customer commitments.
• Coordinate drive and mitigate accountability across business teams and escalate across cross-functional teams.
• Complete Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations.
• Maintain the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics.
• Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal resources, and other Raytheon facilities.

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience working with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems or special program access applications.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Production and/or Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, or Capacity Planning.
• Experience leading daily team operations or comparable leadership experience.

• Experience with manufacturing tool sets and leveraging information from material receipt through DD250 within a defense contracting organization.
• Experience with Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contracts.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with manufacturing processes.

Salary range: 107,500 USD–204,500 USD.
