What You Will Do- Replenish chemicals, solvents, compounds, and process fluids, dispensing into secondary containers and performing chemical cleaning.
- Operate and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery and equipment, making routine in‑process adjustments, minor repairs, and replacing worn parts.
- Work to specifications, instruction sheets, and video and computer instructions to fabricate, assemble, and inspect products manually, semi‑automatically, or automatically.
- Perform routine operations on production assemblies, harnesses, cables, substrates, fixtures, templates, and holding devices.
- Prepare molds, load and unload units, mix compounds, verify product samples, and rework or repair products as required.
- Prepare and apply potting, bonding, and coating compounds, lubricants, spray coats, or insulated tape to a variety of components and assemblies, including finishing processes.
- Set up and wind coils, assemble, and process various types of magnetic electrical components.
- Assemble, check, test, and adjust inertial, gyros, accelerometers, and optical instruments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, supplies, and equipment.
- Provide routine equipment and workstation maintenance, including logs.
- Advance or retrieve product, material, and tools for self and others.
- Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously.
- Use prescribed equipment to perform stenciling, marking, coding, and potting operations.
- Perform routine visual, automatic, and dimensional inspections and continuity measurements on a variety of products.
- Fabricate fixtures and holding devices as required for harness and cable processes.
- Perform drilling, grinding, sandblasting, staking, riveting, eye‑letting, countersinking, and counterboring operations.
- Incorporate engineering change orders and maintain process documentation.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain records, move materials, and follow safety rules during duties.
- Perform other similar duties as required or directed.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Post‑offer testing requirement: must take qualifying tests to determine eligibility.
- Preferred: soldering experience.
- Works well with others.
- Track record of reliability and dependability.
