Operations Engineering Support
Provide operations engineering support to the Circuit Card Manufacturing Factory located in Andover, MA. Primary responsibilities will be to support the Factory's Common Process Areas. This includes programming and profiling assemblies for various equipment used in manufacturing circuit card assemblies, supporting operators as they work through the process. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention, and operations support.
Role requires participation in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base-line metrics, defect prevention, and process data analysis. Role will likely include the creation of manufacturing data packages (process sheets) based off technical data sheets.
What You Will Do
- Oversee reflow profile creation and validations using risk management techniques
- Create and validate AOI programs
- Translate engineering design or equipment requirements into process documentation
- Computer and machine programming for rework, detection, and inspection
- Assist in the detection and dispositioning of discrepant hardware
- Lead root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrences
- Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology
- Manufacturing process support, operators, materials, and equipment.
- Conducting safety / ergonomic assessments
- Interact with peers and senior personnel on technical subjects requiring coordination between organizations and / or suppliers.
- Participate and provide meaningful shift pass downs from/to adjacent shifts
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3.
- Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor, (process and/or quality focus).
- Surface Mount, Auto Insert, Wave Solder, Depanelizing, Advanced Rework, Assembly, Conformal Coat, Inspection
- Experience with the following equipment:
Nordson AOI, Parmi AOI, Onyx 29

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
