Security Clearance: DoD Confidential. U.S. citizenship required; security clearance attainable.
Responsibilities- Present and drive metric‑based improvements across the Value Stream.
- Manage a team of Production Control Managers and Professionals.
- Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting; release production orders in MRP system and confirm in shop floor system.
- Manage and coordinate Kit Readiness with BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control.
- Provide production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, WIP movement, completion of units, and delivery to next step.
- Control physical disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material.
- Coordinate program schedules with Global Supply Chain Management, Subcontracts, Engineering, and other functional areas.
- Support efforts to establish and coordinate actions to support customer commitments.
- Coordinate drive and mitigate accountability across business teams.
- Complete Estimate at Completion (EAC).
- Maintain shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics.
- Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements.
- Work onsite in Andover, MA facility.
- University degree or equivalent experience, 8+ years relevant experience; or Advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, including special program access applications.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Production and/or Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, or Capacity Planning.
- Experience leading daily team operations or comparable leadership experience.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Manufacturing tool set experience leveraging information from material receipt through DD250 within a defense contracting organization.
- Experience with Foreign Military Sale (FMS) & Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contracts.
- Experience supporting cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Manufacturing process experience.
- Competitive salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
