CompensationStarting Wage: $41.60/hour. 1st Shift – 6:00AM – 2:30PM – Andover, Massachusetts. This is an onsite position.

Confidential. Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.
U.S. citizenship required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
What you will do- Set up and operate all machinery to perform a variety of machining, grinding, heat treating, brazing, soldering, and welding on a variety of materials. Fabricate replacement parts for production and non‑production equipment.
- Plan layouts, procedures, machines, equipment, parts programs, and setups to be used.
- Use all types of shop mathematics, principles of mechanics, and trigonometry.
- Select tooling and fixturing methods to accommodate the fabrication process.
- Calculate and set machine feeds and speeds.
- Edit programs as necessary.
- Review new designs for producibility.
- Perform heat‑treat processes.
- Deburr parts utilizing all available methods.
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously when practical.
- Move material as required and mark and identify parts.
- Utilize precision inspection equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain records and follow safety rules in performance of duties.
- Perform other similar duties as required or directed.
- Use CNC, DNC, manual controlled machine tools, CAD stations, heat‑treat ovens, brazing, soldering, welding equipment, grinders, hardware installation equipment, precision inspection equipment, and personal hand tools.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fixturing and/or tool & die fabrication.
- 4 years apprenticeship in machinist trade or equivalent.
