Machine Operator B
A Machine Operator B will set-up, run CNC and manual equipment, and operate machinery to perform a variety of machining and inspection operations on various materials.
* Starting Wage: $31.74*
* 3rd Shift – 10:00PM – 6:30AM – Andover, MA. This position is an onsite role.*
* Must pass Technical Interview*
What you will do:
- Works to verbal, written and computer instructions
- Selects tooling, fixturing, machine feeds and speeds, and methods, including calculating dimensions, to accommodate machining operations and processes.
- Utilizes precision measuring equipment to machine and inspect parts and assemblies
- Deburrs parts utilizing all available methods
- Marks, identifies parts as required
- Simultaneously operates multiple pieces of equipment/processes
- Advances or retrieves product, material and tooling for self and others
- Performs all duties contained in the Machine Operator C classification as directed
- Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment
- Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties
- Performs other similar duties as required or directed
- Machines, Tools, and Equipment used, includes but not limited to:
All CNC and manually controlled machines required to perform any machining / inspection operations; holding fixtures, tooling, various hand tools and inspection equipment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Machine Trades, Machining, and/or Maintenance Experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
