Location:
Andover, MA, USA. Position:
Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly Process (Onsite). U.S. citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Confidential clearance is required.
- Engage with Operations, Design, Test, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to manage production issues in the CCA assembly process.
- Translate complex engineering design requirements into detailed and accurate manufacturing process documents to ensure seamless production.
- Partner with program engineering teams to evaluate designs for manufacturability and assembly, driving optimization and efficiency.
- Actively participate in and lead process improvement projects to enhance production quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Perform thorough validation and verification of Manufacturing Process documents to guarantee accuracy and product compliance to design.
- Engage with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, quality, operations, and external suppliers, to resolve technical challenges and ensure alignment across the manufacturing lifecycle.
- Initiate and contribute to cycle‑time reduction projects and development of manufacturing process documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Confidential).
- Attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and an innovative approach.
- Experience with related military and industry standards and specifications.
- Tool development experience (jigs, fixtures, specialized packaging).
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
- Active DoD Clearance (Confidential).
- Experience developing new manufacturing processes to support volume manufacturing.

Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
