Position

Section Lead – Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield – RF Microelectronics / Module Design and Foundry Services Department, Raytheon. 100% on‑site, located in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities
  • Direct a team of process integration and yield engineers to fabricate advanced microelectronic devices across mature and emerging technologies.
  • Review process changes, identify and champion process improvement opportunities, and work to improve process yields.
  • Facilitate effective allocation of team resources and oversee foundry processes, establish correlations to wafer performance, and support next‑level assembly.
  • Review and oversee project schedules and costs; drive yield investigations, failure‑mode analysis, and corrective‑action plans.
  • Operate on the foundry floor to understand technical and logistical issues and communicate findings to operations management.
  • Partner with the department manager on manpower/resource planning, control overhead costs, develop employee performance reviews, and review proposals.
  • Support management at department, directorate, and functional leadership levels and foster open communication among functional teams.
  • Maintain a current DoD Secret security clearance and ensure U.S. citizenship.
Qualifications – Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • At least eight years of semiconductor processing or process integration experience (an advanced STEM degree may count for three additional years).
  • Experience with III‑V semiconductor processing (GaAs, GaN, GaSb) preferred.
  • Cost‑account or task‑leadership experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Strong analytical, customer‑focus, collaboration, communication, and project‑management skills.
Qualifications – Preferred
  • Master’s or PhD in a STEM field.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and SPC software.
  • Root‑cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience with a defense contractor or government agency.
  • Knowledge of defense‑related semiconductor processes.
