We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and be capable of supporting production activities to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment and production systems.
  • Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and routine adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities and document completed work.
  • Follow SOPs, GMP, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
  • Inspect products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Complete production, maintenance, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S principles.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of GMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and manufacturing processes.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems.
