Job DescriptionHere at Raytheon, our Operations Quality Team assures product and process quality with an emphasis on Product Compliance, Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement. The Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) technicians will work closely with engineering staff and other technicians to perform hardware inspection and support the manufacturing line.
The ideal candidate would possess a working knowledge of circuit card assemblies, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610.
- Perform visual inspection of electronic assemblies, including circuit boards, solder joints, wiring, and components, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Verify that assemblies meet engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications.
- Identify, document, and disposition defects, non-conformances, and deviations from the manufacturing process.
- Work closely with production teams to address quality issues and provide feedback for corrective actions.
- Provide real-time support to the production floor by addressing quality concerns, resolving technical issues, and assisting with troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience is working on electronic assemblies.
- Experience with quality assurance processes, testing, and/or troubleshooting of circuit card or other electronic assemblies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience with circuit card assembly, including component placement, soldering techniques (e.g., through-hole and surface-mount technology), and rework/repair processes.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards for electronic assemblies and the ability to work with engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Experience working directly with engineers, scientists, technicians, and leadership in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to build positive, constructive professional relationships
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong constructive problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from a variety of communities and backgrounds.

A relocation package is offered for this opportunity. The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
