Raytheon Execution Operations (XOPS) has an opportunity for a 1st shift Production Supervisor at its Andover, MA facility. This position has overall responsibility for the Toolroom Shop operations team consisting of 15-20 employees. This individual will lead a team of people in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet contractual requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of work.
This individual will also be responsible for a safe work environment and will lead and engage in safety improvement projects.
This role requires coordinating with Manufacturing Work Centers, and other Functional Partners to ensure successful on time integration of the material and labor efforts necessary to support Production. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities utilizing CORE/R6
Sigma methodologies.
- Execution of schedule and cost based on internal customer needs.
- Workforce planning and forecasting.
- Deployment and monitoring of resources for successful completion of tasks.
- Training and mentoring employees.
- Time and attendance tracking.
- Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
- Ensuring the enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring a safe work environment.
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of experience.
- Supervisory, Leadership and/or manufacturing experience is required.
- Experience working in and/or guiding a Machine/Assembly environment.
- Experience assigning, managing, and measuring work assignments to completion in a bargaining unit environment.
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma implementation projects.
- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience in the aerospace/defense industry
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Solid people management and interpersonal skills use good judgment to resolve conflict.
- Experience in a team-based manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
- Customer focused and Metrics driven and success oriented.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) and/or SAP

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
