Position Summary

We develop, manufacture, and supply dental implants, clear aligners, instruments, CAD‑CAM prosthetics and biomaterials for use in esthetic dentistry. The Marketing Communications Manager at Straumann Group collaboratively creates and executes the integrated marketing communications strategy for North America, aligning with the Straumann Group brands across surgical, restorative, regenerative and biomaterials, lab, digital dentistry, e‑commerce, education and practice growth & service divisions.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing Communication and Events.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build on the North America business strategy to plan and implement creative, effective tactics that differentiate Straumann Group brands and align with the overarching marketing communications strategy across all divisions.
  • Generate compelling, engaging content to support a content‑driven integrated strategy and identify the most effective communication channels to reach relevant target groups.
  • Strategize and implement campaigns leveraging both traditional (marketing collateral, print advertising, direct mail, etc.) and digital (social media, digital advertising, websites, email, etc.) marketing tactics.
  • Manage media plans, communication calendars, and internal and external communications within the area of responsibility.
  • Develop materials, presentations and other marketing communications for product launches, campaigns, and other marketing efforts, including sales meetings, trade shows and events.
  • Create and maintain project plans to move all projects forward in a timely, collaborative and efficient manner.
  • Provide guidance to product management and cross‑functional teams (customer service, sales excellence, customer development, operational excellence) to shape local marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the tradeshow manager to develop plans that leverage product promotions and generate leads at key shows and events.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Team to optimize Straumann Group digital advertising, social media channels and other digital marketing tactics.
  • Create and manage Mar Com budgets in close collaboration with product management and the Senior Director of Marketing Communication and Events.
  • Collaborate with the Tradeshow and Events team and Creative Services Team to develop creative visuals that differentiate Straumann Group at relevant trade shows.
  • Travel with sales representatives once per year to gain a deeper understanding of the business and the Straumann Group customer base.
  • Monitor program success, ROI analytics and report findings to appropriate directors and product managers.
  • Solicit relevant input from customers and the sales organization to develop new and vibrant marketing collateral.
  • Assess current materials, revise existing literature as appropriate, archive outdated versions, and leverage digital whenever possible.
  • Develop relationships with peers at Straumann headquarters to leverage ideas and materials and align with overarching brand.
  • Serve as a strong Straumann Group brand ambassador, ensuring all sales and marketing collateral reflects and adheres to corporate branding standards.
Physical Attributes

  • Utilize dexterity to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, perform filing, and complete related job responsibilities with attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Marketing Communications role or a related field developing content and launching campaigns.
  • 5+ years of experience with digital marketing and advertising.
