The 4th Shift Technical Lead – Semiconductor Fab will direct a team of process engineers to fabricate advanced microelectronic devices supporting Raytheon Technologies business pursuits. The role focuses on both near‑term production and long‑term innovation across various technology roadmaps, requiring experience in III‑V semiconductor processing (GaAs, GaN, GaSb). The leader makes real‑time production decisions, reviews process changes, identifies improvement opportunities, and interfaces with operations management.
WhatYou Will Do
- Review process changes, champion process improvement opportunities, and work to improve process yields
- Oversee project schedules and costs, drive capital acquisition, and qualify new processes
- Facilitate effective allocation of team resources and communicate with functional teams
- Collaborate with the department manager on manpower and resource planning
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (advanced STEM degree may count for 3 years of experience)
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience with semiconductor processing or process integration
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Master’s degree or PhD in a STEM field
- Experience with GaAs, GaN, GaSb, and/or acoustic semiconductor processes
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and related SPC software
- Knowledge of root‑cause analysis techniques
- Strong analytical, customer‑focus, and collaboration skills
- Project scheduling and management experience
- Previous experience with a defense contractor and/or government agency
- Current DoD Secret level security clearance
Salary range: $132,400 - $251,600 USD. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and potential incentive compensation programs depending on level and collective‑bargaining agreements.
