Bioanalytical Chemist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bioanalytical Chemist to support the analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics in a laboratory setting. This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on analytical experience who are comfortable working independently while maintaining high‑quality standards in a regulated environment.

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics
• Independently operate analytical instrumentation, including:
  • RP-UPLC
  • RP-HPLC
  • UV spectroscopy
• Prepare samples and standards for analytical testing with minimal supervision
• Execute routine testing and ensure accurate documentation of results
• Conduct monthly maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
• Support general laboratory operations and organization
• Adhere to cGMP guidelines and properly utilize LIMS systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent relevant experience)
• 2–6 years of hands‑on bioanalytical or analytical chemistry experience
• Experience operating chromatographic and spectroscopic instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a laboratory environment
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

• Experience with iCE (imaged capillary electrophoresis)
• Familiarity with CEX (cation exchange chromatography) and similar separation techniques
• Knowledge of compendial assays (USP/EP methods)

• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills
• Understanding of regulated laboratory environments (cGMP)

• 10‑15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter
• 45‑60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or a Group Leader
• 30‑45 Minute In‑Person to Meet the Team

Position is Full Time, Monday‑Friday, First Shift, Monday through Friday from 8am‑5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Andover, MA
