Mobile Officer

Location: Andover, MA

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

The Mobile Patrol Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment throughout a corporate client property. This position involves conducting routine and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter grounds using a company vehicle or on foot. The officer serves as a visible security presence, responds to incidents, enforces site policies, and provides exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Essential Duties:

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled mobile and foot patrols of the property, parking lots, garages, and surrounding grounds.
• Monitor for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, safety hazards, security breaches, and property damage.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance.
• Complete detailed incident, activity, and daily reports accurately and professionally.
• Perform lock/unlock procedures for designated buildings, offices, and gates.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials when necessary.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions, escorts, and general inquiries.
• Investigate and document security and safety concerns, escalating issues as required.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, site management, and emergency responders.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each shift and report maintenance concerns.
• Enforce client policies, procedures, and security regulations in a professional manner.
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and severe weather events.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing both the security company and the client.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass background screening and any required drug testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
