Electrician - 1st Shift

Position Overview

Location:

Andover, MA – 350 Lowell St, Essex Building, AN1. Role type:
Onsite. Shift: 1st shift – 6:00AM to 2:30PM.

Starting Wage: $48.46/hr.

• Safely plan, layout, and perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of RTX electrical infrastructure and support machine tool maintenance requirements.
• Create stock lists in conjunction with or reviewed with the group leader; notify supervision of major repairs or modifications.
• Perform ESD work; maintain a clean work area; conduct general maintenance and daily housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain records, move materials/equipment, and follow safety rules in the performance of duties.
• Perform any electrical‑related work as assigned and other similar duties as required or directed.
• Use machines, tools, and equipment including digital voltmeters/meters, amp‑meters, hand tools, power/battery‑operated tools, manual/electric/hydraulic conduit benders, wire‑pulling equipment, aerial/scissor lifts, step ladders, and extension ladders.

• Current Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman's license.
• Minimum of five (5) years electrical experience.

U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance – Confidential – is required. Security clearance must be active and existing after day one. Candidates must be eligible for a clearance under the Department of Defense.

1st shift – 6:00AM to 2:30PM. Shift times are subject to the collective bargaining agreement.
