What will you do?
The BMS Service Specialist III position is responsible for learning how to understand project/service requirements such as specifications, standards, schedules, and safety. Participates in project/service activities on site related to the coordination, installation, and commissioning of building automation and security management systems. This employee typically works under daily supervision of a Project Manager or Project Engineer and reports to the Construction Manager or Operations Manager as org chart allows.
Responsibilities- Experience with performing a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection.
- Technician must be able to work on his/her own and/or with others when needed.
- Be customer-friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable.
- Familiar with Package units, split systems, RTU’s, and mini-splits.
- Familiar with electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Familiar with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Ability to communicate with the team and with customers.
- Must comply with all safety standards and processes.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work in close spaces.
- Must have HS - Associate or tech school.
- 5+ years experience working with HVAC/Access Control systems.
- Installing and servicing low voltage controllers, working with field devices including temperature, humidity, static, pneumatic, electronic actuators and valves, and be able to configure and calibrate systems.

This position reports to the Construction Manager in Boston, MA.
CompensationFor this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short‑term incentives. The compensation range for this full‑time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
