Are you early in your embedded software career and excited by the idea of building technology that directly improves patient outcomes? Join our Sports Medicine R&D team in Andover, MA, where you will help develop a next generation surgical endoscopic system used by surgeons around the world. This is a hybrid role where your work will contribute to real world innovation in a highly collaborative, quality driven environment.
Whatwill you be doing?
- Designing and developing high quality C and C++ embedded software for medical devices used in sports medicine applications
- Developing proof of concepts to support endoscopic, surgical navigation and electromechanical products
- Owning the full lifecycle of software increments from requirements and acceptance criteria through to documentation and testing
- Collaborating with cross functional and multi site agile teams to define requirements and deliver value driven solutions
- Creating and maintaining automated testing and CI frameworks for embedded C and C++ codebases
- Supporting debugging, root cause analysis and promoting a quality first mindset in a regulated environment
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience
- 0 to 3 years of experience developing embedded software using C and C++ on bare metal and/or embedded Linux platforms
- Experience working with microcontrollers, RTOS or FPGA based systems and common hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART or USB
- An understanding of CI CD pipelines, unit testing for embedded software and scripting using Python or Shell is beneficial
- Strong problem‑solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast paced, regulated development environment
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $78,750.00 - $ USD annually. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications, job‑related knowledge/skills, geographical location. You will be entitled to receive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, and a variety of wellness offerings.
