Croix Design and Drafting is growing, and we're looking for a talented Residential Drafter/Designer to join our on‑site team in Andover, MN!
At Croix Design and Drafting, we provide high‑quality architectural design and drafting services for home builders and private clients. From fully custom homes to large‑scale residential developments, our team supports projects from the first sketch all the way to final construction documents. With thousands of stock plans and extensive custom capabilities, we pride ourselves on accuracy, creativity, and exceptional client service.

📐 What You’ll DoIn this full‑time role, you’ll be hands‑on with:
- Creating and modifying architectural plans and construction documents for custom homes, townhomes, and remodeling.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes
- Reviewing plans throughout the design process to meet project specs and timelines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting/design tools
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and building codes
- Ability to read and develop construction documents and detailed blueprints
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in residential architecture is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design, Drafting, or a related field
