Step into a critical support role as an on-call Special Education Teacher, providing essential classroom coverage for a local district. Requirements:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (must be submitted with your application)
• Experience working with diverse student populations in special education settings
• Flexibility to work across multiple grade levels-from early learners up through high school
• Availability for both scheduled and last-minute assignments, Monday through Friday
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality instruction and support while following established lesson plans
• Adapt teaching approaches and materials to meet students' unique needs
• Maintain student records and ensure compliance with IEPs during assignments
• Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents when needed
• Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment during coverage periods

This strictly on-call, per diem opportunity ensures you're paid whenever called in and providing coverage. You could be stepping in for anything from planned teacher vacations to same-day absences. Assignments may vary in length and frequency, and will range across age groups and class needs within the district.
