Supply Planning Manager – Structural Heart Division
The Supply Planning Manager will plan, direct, and monitor all supply activities to ensure a cost‑effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers.
LocationThis position can work out of either the Plymouth, MN or Westfield, IN sites supporting our Structural Heart Medical Device division.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain.
- Daily monitor inventory levels for products in the Structural Heart portfolio and identify opportunities for improvement while communicating supply updates to key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement build schedules and procedures.
- Allocate resources to meet targets in areas such as financial revenue goals, manufacturing lead times, inventory levels, and service standards.
- Understand supply chain capacity constraints across the supply network and participate in a sustainable S&OP process.
- Facilitate cross‑functional S&OP Franchise meetings and collaborate with global peers to ensure complete and credible net requirements are captured for products in the portfolio.
- Liaise with functional and operational area managers (e.g., finance, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, demand planning, and production planning) to ensure supply activities are integrated with other parts of the business.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 5+ years’ work experience in supply planning, demand planning, procurement, or supply chain.
- In‑depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross‑group dependencies/relationships.
- Solid understanding of systems and processes that support supply chain and manufacturing operations, such as SAP ERP and Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to conduct solid analytics on business problems and datasets; produce, retrieve, and interpret reports using standard systems and tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain‑related metrics to accomplish own work.
- Capability to perform in a quality system environment where failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
- Experience working on complex problems requiring in‑depth evaluation of various factors.
- Judgment within broadly defined practices and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Broad knowledge of various technical alternatives and their potential impact on the business.
- APICS certification or an advanced degree.
Base pay range: $97,300.00 – $. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
