DescriptionThis role of Technical Compliance & Project Manager is to deliver site infrastructure Projects across our Andover site, aligned with the site Capex agenda. This pivotal role ensures the safety, reliability, and compliance in all what we do whilst supporting strategic development and operational excellence.
This role will play a critical role in supporting department managers to deliver H&S policy in line with legislation and best practice guidelines. You will act as a Responsible Person and/or Duty Holder for electrical compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the responsible person/Duty Holder for site hard services, managing contracts and ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
- Manage electrical and DSEAR compliance work streams.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments, providing technical guidance and informed decision-making within your area of technical knowledge.
- Oversee site compliance, obsolescence, infrastructure, and energy-efficiency projects from concept to completion.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, resources, and risks.
- Maintain detailed schedules, work plans, and budgets.
- Run regular project reviews and provide clear stakeholder updates.
- Manage all project documentation, reporting, and change control.
- Oversee on site contractors in line with local processes and CDM Regulations.
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and handover with key stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a track record of project delivery.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies with a project management qualification.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Solid working knowledge of industry-relevant technical regulations.
- C&G / NVQ Level 3 qualified engineer with an electrical bias (time-served).
- HNC/HND in engineering would be desirable.
- A good understanding of the CDM Regulations and Legislation.
