Middle School Elementary School-Based Registered Nurse; RN

• Active RN license and credentials in Minnesota
• Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) highly preferred
• Experience working in elementary and/or middle schools
• Thorough knowledge of student health issues and appropriate interventions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff
• Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities
• Adaptability to work in varied situations, from routine care to emergency response

• Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff
• Develop and oversee care plans for students with chronic medical conditions or special health needs
• Administer medication and monitor students’ medication schedules
• Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks
• Act as a resource on health education and promotion for students and staff
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure documentation complies with school policies
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to support overall student success
