Ham Lake Veterinary Hospital practices Preventive Medicine, General Medicine, and General Surgery. We have digital radiography, a full in-house lab, and reference laboratory availability for sending out more involved testing. We love serving the Ham Lake/East Bethel area and find our country setting quiet and relaxing.
Our hospital began in 2005 and since then has grown to employ an over 20 person team of veterinarians, technicians, and receptionists.
Position PurposeCome extern with us!
Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands‑on experience and mentorship to help them be practice‑ready by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements / Qualifications- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
