This company is a leading waste management organization specializing in the safe processing, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and radioactive waste. Following several major contract awards, they are continuing to expand while investing heavily in employee development, technical training, and long-term career progression.
On offer is a highly technical Health Physicist position where you'll support radiation safety programs, perform radiological assessments, develop protection procedures, and provide technical guidance across a range of specialist nuclear waste facilities. Whether you're an experienced Health Physicist or an ambitious graduate, you'll receive the support and training needed to become a subject matter expert.
This role would suit a Health Physicist or Nuclear Engineering graduate looking to build specialist expertise, work on meaningful nuclear projects, and establish a long-term career within a growing organization offering excellent development opportunities.
Role- Support radiation safety programs, compliance activities, and radiological protection across nuclear waste facilities
- Prepare and review radiation protection procedures, dose assessments, surveys, and ALARA evaluations
- Develop specialist Health Physics expertise through training while supporting major Department of Energy projects
- Degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or relevant Health Physicist experience
- Knowledge of radiation protection principles and regulatory compliance
- Looking to become a recognised technical specialist within a growing organization offering outstanding long-term career development
