This company is a leading provider of hazardous and radioactive waste management services, trusted to safely process, transport, and dispose of waste from some of the country's largest nuclear and government facilities. Following multiple major contract awards, they are expanding their team and investing heavily in specialized training, continuing education, and internal career development.
In this role, you'll receive hands-on training from experienced industry professionals, developing expertise in hazardous and low-level radioactive waste acceptance, transportation regulations, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation.
This role is ideal for someone with hazardous waste or environmental experience who wants to deepen their technical knowledge, gain specialized certifications, and establish themselves as an expert within one of the most regulated and technically demanding sectors in the industry.
The Role:- Receive specialized training in hazardous and radioactive waste acceptance, transportation, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to support the safe transportation, characterization, and disposal of hazardous and radioactive waste
- Develop into a subject matter expert through ongoing training, tuition support, and exposure to major Department of Energy and nuclear decommissioning projects
- Experience with hazardous waste, environmental compliance, hazardous materials, or radioactive waste
- Knowledge of waste transportation, shipping regulations, packaging, or regulatory compliance
- Eager to undertake specialized training and develop into a technical expert
