Role Description

The Commercial Lender is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Andrews, TX. This position is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing commercial loan relationships, including working closely with business clients to understand their financing needs and recommending appropriate loan products. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include evaluating creditworthiness, preparing and reviewing loan packages, monitoring existing loan portfolios, and ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

The Commercial Lender will collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient customer service, support specialized lending programs, and participate in business development and networking activities to grow the commercial portfolio.

Qualifications
  • Strong lending and credit skills, including experience with Loans and Finance.
  • Proficiency in underwriting practices, including Underwriting and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous commercial lending or banking experience, preferably in a community banking environment.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance.
