Monthly – Level I: $3,537.92 (GR.A14);
Level II: $3,716.86 (GR.A15);
Level III: $3,906.52 (GR.A16). Retiree rates:
Level I: $3,463.82;
Level II: $3,638.40;
Level III: $3,823.44.

Performs complex agricultural work, producing livestock and agricultural products, and monitoring activities of assigned inmates. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

• Provides technical assistance and oversees livestock care, accountability, and program operations.
• Assists in producing, processing, and distributing livestock, feed rations, and commodities; aids in breeding and preventive medical treatment.
• Oversees operation of agricultural machinery; assists in construction, repair, and maintenance of agricultural facilities.
• Implements training programs; maintains inventory of materials and supplies; prepares records, correspondence, and reports.
• Maintains security of tools, machinery, and equipment; responds to emergencies; searches for escaped inmates; transports assigned inmates; performs correctional and custodial functions.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

This position is a career ladder role, with consideration given to education and experience. Salary and grade vary across Levels I, II, and III as described above.
