What You’ll Do & Bring
As a Patient Services Specialist (PSS), you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients—delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth front-office operations and a welcoming patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients, families, and community partners
- Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and manage patient flow using EHR systems
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
- Assist patients with registration, forms, and understanding visit requirements
- Communicate clearly via phone and in person, routing messages appropriately
- Collect and reconcile payments, co-pays, and cash drawer transactions
- Address patient concerns with professionalism and escalate when needed
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with office equipment and scheduling systems
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient care
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
- Preferred: Experience in a medical or dental front office setting
