** JOB DESCRIPTION*
* The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist I position works independently to complete a variety of routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures to include common and special ultrasound exams of moderate complexity. This position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special ultrasound procedures. The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist I position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to ultrasound exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
This position is a member of the direct patient care team.

* The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist II position is an experienced technologist who completes a variety of routine to complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures to include common and special ultrasound exams of high difficulty. This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of ultrasound exams. The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist II position serves as a mentor and trainer to the Ultrasound Technologist I and students.
This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures. The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist II position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special ultrasound procedures. This position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to ultrasound exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
