Job Details

Railcrew Xpress (RCX) is currently hiring Passenger Mini‑Van Drivers to provide safe, reliable transportation to railroad crews.

Job Location:

Angleton, TX 77515

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Job Types: Full‑Time and Part‑Time

No CDL Required

Responsibilities

As a Passenger Mini‑Van Driver, you will transport railroad crews to various locations based on their needs, maintaining safety and meeting schedule demands.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
  • Preferably live within a 20–25‑minute distance of the location.
  • On‑call position that allows you to create your own schedule.
  • Less than two moving violations within the last three years.
  • No careless, reckless, or failure to control violations within the last five years.
  • No DUI convictions in the previous seven years.
  • No drug or alcohol‑related convictions in the previous four years.
  • No auto theft conviction in the last seven years.
  • Must pass a background check and be cleared by eRailsafe (penalty for felony in the last seven years or release from penal institution in the last five years).
Computer Skill Requirements
  • Ability to use electronic devices and programs to communicate, onboard, train, and submit required shift and trip information.
Physical Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, drive, or wait on crew for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stop, and stretch to complete vehicle inspection.
  • Ability to safely enter and exit the company vehicle.
  • Ability to safely fit behind the wheel and properly wear the seatbelt.
  • Must pass a DOT physical examination if required.
  • Ability to hear, read, and respond to instructions and directions over the phone, navigation system, and/or radio in English.
  • Must submit to and pass a negative drug and/or alcohol test.
