As an Analyser & Metering Technician, you are responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical instruments and metering systems. The role ensures accurate measurement of process variables such as flow, composition, energy, and emissions to support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safe plant operation.

• Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain online analyser’s and metering systems
• Perform routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of analytical instruments
• Troubleshoot faults in analyser’s, flow meters, gas meters, energy meters, and related instrumentation
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement systems in accordance with standards and procedures
• Maintain calibration records, maintenance logs, and technical documentation
• Support custody transfer, billing, and regulatory compliance metering systems
• Work with control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA) for analyser and metering signal integration
• Perform loop checks and functional testing during shutdowns and projects
• Identify and replace faulty components such as sensors, transmitters, probes, and sample systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and third-party service providers
• Participate in audits, inspections, and commissioning activities
• Gas analyser’s (O₂, CO, CO₂, NOx, SO₂, H₂S, moisture, chromatographs)
• Liquid analyser’s (pH, conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen)
• Flow meters (Coriolis, ultrasonic, turbine, electromagnetic, orifice)
• Energy, steam, water, and gas metering systems
• Sampling systems and analyser shelters
• Calibration equipment and certified test instruments

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in analyser and metering maintenance (industry-dependent)
• Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation and measurement principles
• Experience with calibration standards and international codes (ISO, API, IEC, AGA, OIML)
• Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings
