Job DescriptionTo act as the competent person and inspection focal point responsible for the co-ordination and management of inspection activities. Perform inspections and endorsement in accordance with Oceaneering and/or Client procedures.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL
Perform inspections to determine if equipment meets acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document
Undertake all agreed inspections within limitations ensuring they are implemented and completed as scheduled
Conduct inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the integrity of the asset
Properly interpret regulations, codes, and industry standards
Ensure compliance with Oceaneering or Client procedures
Compile and submit completed inspection reports in a timely manner
Review and endorse associated inspection reports such as NDT or Fabric Maintenance
Ensure inspection data is updated in internal or external databases as directed by management
Supervise Oceaneering personnel and third parties as directed by management
Ensure work scope, associated risks and the work is completed and reported as specified
Assess defects or anomalies found, ensuring compliance with Oceaneering and/or Client procedures
Provide remedial recommendations as required and inspect the subsequent repair work for acceptance
Issue status reports as required by Oceaneering and/or Client e.g., daily/ weekly/ handover reports.
Assist in strategy reviews and in the development of inspection programs as required by
Contribute input to detailed plans, programs, work scopes and carry out pre-surveys of equipment
Provide support as required to audits e.g., verification, client, internal, etc.
NON-ESSENTIAL

Additional tasks may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.
Travelling alone or as part of a team to global client locations.
Undertake specific project tasks as instructed by management.
QualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in the relevant inspection techniques within the oil and gas industry
API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector
API 570 Piping Inspection
NDT certification / knowledge or experience
