By joining us, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical availability of one of our client's fleet of vessels, in line with the agreed budget
.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:
- Participate in the definition of the maintenance budget defined on an annual basis, carry out a monthly control of maintenance costs with the help of the Cost Controller and the Vessel Manager;
- Carry out annual allocated vessel’s technical inspections;
- Ensure hierarchical management of Chief Engineers on his fleet;
- Support and improve fleet HSE culture through preventive actions deployment and incidents investigation commitment;
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet in accordance with Bourbon standards by supervising the execution of maintenance processes.

The position is based inANGOLAand operates on a B2B rotation, with a schedule of 6–8 weeks ON/ 6–8 weeks OFF
.
You are the ideal candidate if you possess the following professional and personal competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, STCW standards.
- Proficiency in CMMS tools and Bourbon maintenance procedures.
- Ability to analyze, investigate and lead technical projects.
- Functional coordination and project management skills.
- Leadership, priority management, attention to detail and pedagogical skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Chief Engineer certificate or maritime equivalent;
- Managerial experience onboard or within a shipping company
