Child Protection Officer; NO-, TA of Türkiye, ECAMENAR

UNICEF Child Protection Officer will support the country's programming on Children On the Move (COM) within the Country Programme ) from development planning to delivery of results.

• Support to programme development and planning
• Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
• Technical and operational support to programme implementation
• Networking and partnership building
• Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

Minimum Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor or equivalent in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or related fields.
• Work Experience:
  
  Minimum two years of professional experience in social development planning and management in child protection related areas.
• Skills:
  
  Child protection expertise, programme planning, results‑based management, monitoring & evaluation, stakeholder engagement, capacity building.
• Language:
  Fluency in English.

Desirables:

• Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language.
• University or advanced degree in law including international refugee law, international humanitarian law.
• Experience in refugee and migrant protection.
• Relevant experience in programme development in child protection areas in a UN system agency.
• Experience in both development and humanitarian contexts.
• Relevant country‑level experience in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
