! The Middle Office Analyst leverages Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) and supports software platforms to model and control fuel procurement activities. The Middle Office Analyst's efforts produce appropriate operational controls, supporting analytics, and issue resolution on contracts, trades, prices, and transaction details.
- Analyze contracts and appropriately model in the CTRM and associated systems. Troubleshoot transaction exceptions to resolution. Continuously improving the set-up and resolution processes.
- Review and validate counter party confirmations to ensure trade accuracy and report any violations of the Risk Policy.
- Maintain communication with traders, suppliers, customers, and accounting to facilitate smooth fuel procurement operations.
- Analyze data to support middle office operations. Report metrics and make recommendations for courses of action.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Starting pay range: $64,000 - $80,000. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience is required.
- At least three years of equivalent work experience in a similar position.
- Experience with Right Angle, and/or the ability to learn systems quickly.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to be a self-starter and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships based on transparency and mutual respect, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office programs, Excel and PowerPoint.
