Safety Manager

Role Definition

The Safety Manager is responsible for driving Keen's overall safety philosophy, compliance strategy, and behavior-based safety culture (Operation Zero). This role leads with vision and accountability, ensuring all employees have the tools, training, and support to work safely and efficiently. Through proactive planning, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement, the Safety Leader fosters a strong internal safety culture while maintaining positive relationships with industry partners and regulatory agencies.

They serve as a strategic advisor during preconstruction, oversee third-party safety partners, and champion innovation through emerging safety technologies and best practices.

• SAFETY STRATEGY & COMPLIANCE
• Effectively articulate the company’s safety philosophy, vision, and strategy
• Work with the Safety Steering Team to maintain accountability of annual goals, quarterly rocks, and measurables
• Oversee and evaluate third party safety partners to ensure alignment with Keen’s safety standards and objectives
• Have a deep understanding of our Safety Policy’s and keep updated as needed
• Regularly monitor and analyze changes in safety legislation and regulations to maintain compliance
• Ensure Keen is within compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
• Create and/or review safety training and recommend revisions, improvements, and updates
• Ensure that our employees are up to date with required safety training and certifications
• Manage the Incident Workflow and ensure the timeliness and quality of the incident closeout process
