Position: Reservations Agent
Location: Holiday Inn Kyoto Gojo

As a Reservations Agent, you will manage all aspects of room reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while contributing to revenue optimization and guest satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver service in line with IHG brand standards.

• Handle individual and group reservations via phone, email, and internal requests
• Process bookings from Sales, Central Reservations, travel agents, and wholesalers with correct commission handling
• Manage cancellations, amendments, and updates accurately and promptly
• Assist with reservations across the IHG network
• Maximize ADR through upselling techniques
• Support occupancy and revenue targets through effective booking management
• Offer alternative dates during sold-out periods to minimize revenue loss
• Stay updated on rates, promotions, and strategies to support forecasting
• Prepare daily reports in line with procedures
• Assist with reservation, cancellation, and arrival reports
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Share group booking opportunities with Sales

• Previous experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
• Basic PC skills (reservation systems, Microsoft Office)
• Fluent Japanese and conversational English
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Shift-based schedule (8 working hours per day)
