Salary Information - $1,123 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH).

Job Summary
- Adjunct Student Development Instructor to teach in person SDV courses at DMACC Ankeny campus.

Essential Functions
- Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in any discipline or a bachelor's degree with a professional tested experience equivalent to 6000 hours. Transcripts and/or work experience will be reviewed to determine credentialing for the discipline Demonstrated ability to establish a maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals with varied backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in a community college setting as an instructor, academic advisor, counselor or a related position. Keen understanding of contemporary student success methodologies. Experience teaching in an online environment.

Work Schedule
- Various in-person hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm on the Ankeny Campus.
