$28.00 per hour.
Job Summary
Coordinate program laboratories and assist instructors in the operation of the lab areas and equipment to facilitate the student learning process.
Essential Functions- Prepare and organize digital and print materials and lab equipment needed for student training.
- Clean up after completion of lab training activities and maintain inventory of materials and supplies for lab equipment.
- Maintain records as requested by instructors.
- Set up lab trainers for student practice and assessment.
- Contact vendors regarding purchases and initiate requisitions.
- Monitor and update SDS information and notify instructors of updates as appropriate.
- Establish maintenance schedule and repair equipment or arrange for repairs.
- Provide supplemental training to students as needed.
- Associate degree or diploma in a maintenance, electrical, or mechanical field or completion of a formal building trades apprenticeship program.
- Three years experience in a maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or warehouse occupation.
- Ability to do job site materials estimates.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage projects.
- Ability to track inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Knowledge of current software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
Work Schedule
15-20 hours per week. Monday – Thursday, daytime hours;
Friday, morning hours.
