THIS VACANCY REQUIRES:

$12.50 per hour.
Job Summary
The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions
Supervise and support students working in the fashion studio.
Collaborate with faculty on department-wide projects and events.
Oversee studio preparation, cleanliness, inventory, and maintenance.
Manage communications to current and prospective students, including job and internship postings.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues for students and staff.
Support faculty with administrative tasks including data entry, material prep, and copy requests.
Represent the department during student tours and act as a mentor for new students.
Oversee the department’s social media content creation and scheduling.
Coordinate with other departments for deliveries, requests, and cross-functional collaboration.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and planning abilities.
Experience managing or curating multiple social media accounts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions.
Desired Qualifications
Current Fashion student or someone with a strong interest in the fashion industry.
Previous experience in a supervisory or mentorship role.
Work Schedule
15 hours per week, between 8:00am – 7:00pm Monday – Friday.
