The work study program provides funds for part‑time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. It is designed to provide students with employment arranged around class schedules while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions- The Membership Representative will engage in meaningful conversation with Trail Point’s members, guests, DMACC students, faculty, and staff.
- Follow policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety for all members and staff.
- Work collaboratively with Trail Point staff, practice strong communication, and be inclusive of others.
- Become well versed in Trail Point’s offerings—including hours of operation, membership structure and pricing, tours, form management, sales processing, and more.
- Complete First Aid, CPR / AED Certification within 60 days of hire.
- Must possess strong communication skills in person and on the phone, and have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to make independent and sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to address member concerns and account issues professionally.
- Ability to reflect a positive attitude and teamwork.
- Must be able to work during Trail Point’s hours of operation, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Work Schedule:
10 hours per week during these hours – Weekdays between 4:30 am to 9:30 pm and Weekends between 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
